No Kings Redux
In Toledo, Ohio
Even though we have retired to Spain, my husband and I happened to be in Ohio in June for the first No Kings protest as it took place the day before the birthday celebration for my husband’s beloved aunt. So I was able to attend both events.
Then in October, his aunt passed away and we flew back to attend her memorial service. Amazingly, her service was the day before the second No Kings protest. The timing of this defies belief. It’s almost like we were meant to be in the US for both these protests.
Here is a photo of me facing the street with my sign and listening to car horns beeping non-stop as drivers showed their support for what we were doing.
