Growing a Top-Notch Family Tree
Whether you are interested in genealogy or not, this is a fascinating read. I applaud author, Nancy Blodgett Klein, for her attention to detail and the research that has gone into compiling this book.
The book is divided into two parts. The first part is the practical side of growing a family tree. In the introduction, the author states: “…much like gardening, (family) trees require shaping and pruning to thrive.” The author shows, through examples, how to do this. The second part relates interesting stories she has discovered while researching and growing her family tree. With photographs and examples, it is easy to follow, even if you are not an ardent genealogist. Excellent links are provided to help the reader in their own search, which may uncover some surprises.
